Glow Body Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

Glow Body is owned and operated by the Glow Body team (“Glow Body,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).

By downloading, accessing, creating an account, subscribing to, or using Glow Body, including any related websites, services, content, features, or tools, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”) and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the App and must delete your account immediately.

You represent and warrant that:

  • You are at least 18 years old (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction);
  • You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement;
  • You are not prohibited from using the App under applicable law;
  • You will comply with all applicable local, state, federal, and international laws;
  • You have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after updated Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

2. Not Medical Advice and Medical Disclaimer

Glow Body is an informational, educational, tracking, and organizational tool only.

Nothing in the App, and no feature, output, content, calculation, estimate, chart, reminder, report, AI response, or dashboard, constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, treatment recommendation, dosing instruction, prescription guidance, clinical guidance, or professional healthcare advice of any kind.

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • Glow Body does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition;
  • Glow Body does not recommend substances, dosages, schedules, injection techniques, or treatment plans for GLP-1 medications (such as Ozempic, Wegovy, Zepbound, Mounjaro, or Rybelsus);
  • Glow Body does not sell, distribute, prescribe, compound, or promote the purchase of any medications or supplements;
  • Glow Body is not run or operated by medical professionals, and no medical professional reviews the information you input or the AI responses generated by the App;
  • You are solely responsible for consulting a qualified healthcare professional before making any health-related, medication-related, or nutrition-related decisions;
  • Use of the App is entirely at your own risk.

Emergency Situations: Glow Body is not designed for medical emergencies. If you believe you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or your local emergency services immediately.

No Professional Relationship: Use of the App does not create any physician-patient, healthcare provider-patient, or professional relationship between you and Glow Body.

3. Use of the App and User Responsibility

Glow Body is intended for personal, non-commercial use by adults.

You are solely responsible for:

  • The accuracy of all data you enter or communicate to the AI in the App;
  • How you interpret or act on any information, nutrition targets, or charts displayed in the App;
  • Any decision you make based on App content, AI conversations, estimates, or reminders;
  • Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction regarding your health and medication routines;
  • Maintaining the security of your device and account.

4. AI Conversational Features and Limitations

Glow Body utilizes AI technology to facilitate conversational data logging and provide personalized insights.

You acknowledge that:

  • AI-generated responses, meal analyses, calorie targets, and progress estimates are for informational and organizational purposes only;
  • AI systems can occasionally make errors, misinterpret text, or generate inaccurate estimates;
  • You should always double-check critical health information (such as medication dosages and schedules) manually rather than relying solely on AI parsing.

5. Apple HealthKit Integration

With your explicit permission, Glow Body may integrate with Apple HealthKit or similar platform tools to read or write health and fitness metrics (such as weight, nutrition, and activity).

You may revoke these permissions at any time through your device or app settings. Glow Body is not responsible for any synchronization delays, data discrepancies, or errors caused by Apple HealthKit or system-level restrictions.

6. Subscriptions and Payments

Glow Body may offer premium features, subscription plans, or in-app purchases.

  • All billing and subscription management are handled securely through third-party platforms such as the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
  • Subscription fees, renewal terms, and cancellation policies are governed by the respective store's terms and conditions. You must manage or cancel your subscriptions directly through your app store account settings.

7. Third-Party Services

To ensure app performance and functionality, we may utilize third-party service providers (such as cloud hosting, analytics, attribution, and AI processing infrastructure). These third-party services process non-health technical data or securely transmit localized conversational text as outlined in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share your personal health data with advertisers.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Glow Body, its developers, affiliates, and partners shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:

  • Your access to or use of (or inability to access or use) the App;
  • Any conduct or content of any third party on the App;
  • Any AI responses, health tracking errors, missed reminders, or inaccurate calculations;
  • Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or data.

9. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material, we will make reasonable efforts to provide notice prior to any new terms taking effect. By continuing to access or use our App after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
